I have a 2001 silverado with a 5.3l, with a 105 amp alternator its the small one only 5 3/8", was wondering if there was any way to swap to the bigger higher output 5 3/4", the bolt holes do not line up there is a slight difference. Can any one help????

I think it would just be easier to buy a high amp alternator made for your model.
