I have a 07 avalanche LT. It has the satellite radio antenna on the top. But when I try to get in on the radio all that I have is FM AM and Aux. is there a way to check to see if it is hooked up?

Around '05, or '06, GM combined the OnStar antenna and the XM antenna. However, this may not mean that XM is included. I tried to find the RPO code for XM installed, but there are so many I gave up. Most GM radios use a separate receiver for XM, it is a small module mounted behind the dash and plugged into the radio. I wish I had the RPO code, we could tell if you have the module.

Here is a link to a module on e-bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-11-Chevy-Silverado-1500-XM-Radio-Upgrade-Kit-/400147916210

    EDIT: found it.

    XM radio is: U2K

    XM radio delete is: U2J

Look on the glove box door, the complete list of RPO codes is there, let us know if either of the above is in the list.
