I have an 07 silverados classics extended cab with an 5.3 no 4x4 or anything special. I want to know if anybody has hauled a slide in camper with this truck or any advice

Best thing to do is look up the Trailer tow capacity spec's on your vehicle and the camper.

Genenerally, the 1500 series can handle around 5700lbs.

    I have a '94 1500 EXT stepside 4x4 with a built-up 5.7L, and am pulling a 2009 Forest River Rockwood Roo 21SS.

    Hope this helps.

He is refering to a Slide in (box mounted) camper.. I have seen people with them, and have a buddy that uses his with his 96 chevy... He has overload springs, and coil over shocks to take the extra load. Basically you want to check the max payload that you truck can handle, and go from there.. Depending on the model your truck should be able to handle it but it will squat, and to keep everything level i actually would go with a good set of air bags to keep your steer wheels in contact.
