i was wondering if anyone's ever smoked (spray tinted like taillights) the parking bulbs on our trucks. is this even possible considering the heat they would give off or is there any other way to do this? stealth bulbs are 20 bucks a pair and 40 bucks for bulbs is way too much imo:gasp:

i dont think you can paint them because when they make the tinted bulbs they mix the tint in with the glass like regular light bulbs.......

They used to make a tint especially for bulbs. I had blue tinted lights in my 55 Chevy. The tint worked great and didn't cause the bulbs to burn out prematurely.

Have a look for Silverstars from Sylvania. $9.99 per pair and they have parking bulbs.

i hadnt seen the progress for a while!

and well yeah i guess ill check out sylvanias... but i still want ambers in the front... not white

the problem is since i removed the reflectors and used silver/grey reflector tape the orange from the bulb looks kinda weird imo... doesnt bother me too much but just enough

i might be way off but i could have sworn that i have seen people put window tint over the tailights in order to tint them but i live in south texas and people do a lot jerry-rigging lol
