Don't know your age, but I'm 62 and have had both those procedures done about 10-12 times since I was 45. Piece of cake, you'll sleep right through it and it is a MUST for every man or woman over 40. If they find anything they can remove it right then and there. 99% success rate, But if it's a cancer, and it breaks through the digestive tract wall, it's all over with. Good Luck, I think you'll be fine. If you don't have your health, you got nothing !

You're going to be fine. Keep us to to date. At least it's not bad hemorrhoids that will make driving your truck more difficult. Lol

like said above, the worst part is the prep. And really that is not all that bad. Not eating the day before was the hardest part for me. I had multiple scopes in both ends when they were attempting to find out why I would have debilitating stomach pains that would start out of no where. At one point they had me swallow a camera pill to watch it go thru my system. I asked if they wanted the pill back! They said no thanks. After seeing tons of specialists over 3 years, my wife got tired of it and drove me to The University of Michigan hospital more than an hour and a half away during an attack. They discovered that it was a paraduodenal hernia (apparently born with it) They did emergency surgery and after 7 days in the hospital I was good as new.

glad to hear your better, whenever I burp it feels like someone is in my stomach with a knife and slicing it up.
