Speakers ringing even w/o key in ignition (2011)

Has anyone experienced a quiet but 'noticeable once you realize it' ringing noise coming from your truck speakers? It is similar to what comes from TVs but not quite as loud.

If you open the door and get inside the truck and do not put the keys in, the ringing will occur until the dome light shuts off. I can hear a slight click noise in the speakers. It then momentarily stops but begins a few seconds later again.

It is constant while driving the truck as far as I can tell.

Any help is appreciated so I might know what I am dealing with before I go into the dealer.

You have a ground issue or if you have any aftermarket stereo equipment installed like an amplifier, you may need to check your RCA cables to see if they are shielded or not.
