Squealing from Under Hood on 2000 Silverado

    spraying the belt with a lubricant with the noise then going away would mean its the belt or tensioner. the belt inspection will reveal if its worn out / damaged. the tensioner not properly keepng the belt tight is not easy to determine.

    Thanks for the input guys. Turns out it was the AC belt tensioner. Replaced this and the AC belt and the noise is gone. Thanks again!
