How do you remove the large disc with 3 notches that the steering shaft protective sleeve snaps on too? Is it threaded in or pressed in? Special tool needed? This need to come off to access the steering box input shaft seal that is leaking. PLEASE HELP!!!

Figured it out......removed the box, placed it in a vice and it threads off....just tapped it with a punch and hammer.
