I have a 99 4x4 suburban that has some play in the steering. I was wanting to know if there is any way I can adjust the play out or will I need a new gear box? Thanks for your help guys

On top of gear box, 5/8 ? nut with a center stud. Hold the stud break the nut loose. Tighten steering gear by turning center stud clockwise. Don't have to go far to make a big difference.
