Steering Stabilizer?

My 2012 2500HD 4wd didn't come with a steering stabilizer, and its pretty choppy on rough dirt roads. Has anyone added an aftermarket stabilizer like a Rancho to a newer truck? Did it help? Any brand better than another for a 95% highway driven truck?

I was under the impression that on modern 4WD vehicles with power steering and little to no steering kickback that steering stabilizers (of the non-towing variety) were mostly for show UNLESS the vehicle was being used for high speed off-roading.

On slow bad roads, there is definitely feedback. There is nothing in the system to dampen it, it is a direct connection from wheel to steering wheel.
