I had a thought while I was looking over the components I'm planning on getting for my truck (some day). I know basically how a steering wheel control interface works. One thing I was wondering was, does it affect the controls for my DIC? I'm not exactly sure how it hooks into the steering wheel control wires, so I wanted to make sure I would still retain the use of all 4 buttons for my DIC controls. Anybody know? Thanks!

P.S. If it matters, I have no XM, Onstar, or Bose.

It should not interfere with the DIC, the unit is programmable for your steering wheel controls. Depending on which one you use, you may be able to program up to 9 functions. Hope this helps.
