Has anyone test fitted the stock 18" wheels that are on my truck with any of rough country's lift kits? There instructions say you can run the stock 20" with 35"s. I really like the look of my oem wheels with mud terrains.

I havent installed a R/C kit on the NBS trucks, but it might be that the R/C new steering knuckles are to tall for the stock 18s to clear. I think if you run a 17 or 18 you need a differant offset to clear the taller knuckles. The 20s must likely clear the kuckles.

With the RC 3" lift my stock 17's fit fine, but only the upper control arm got changed on that kit. No way you'd fit anything bigger than a 33" tire with that kit though, so I'm guessing you're looking at a bigger kit..

Yeah, I'm wanting to go with the 7.5 inch to run at least 35's. I might try 37's to see if they fit, i'm going with a 1-ton axle on the rear end once lifted that has 4:56 gears. So 37's would be perfect, and 35's my rpms are going to be just a little higher.
