Tailgate Actuator

According to my dealer my tailgate actuator has gone bad on my 2004 Chevy Suburban 1500 and they want like $480 to fix it.

My question is, is there a place where I can buy one? All I can find on the web is actuators for the passenger doors. Nothing for the tailgate.

I think Chevy is looking to make up for their deficit through these actuators. I just spent almost a $1000 on two bad ones for the HVAC system.

    Thanks
    Bill

Yeah those hvac actuators are a pain. You can find them for about 100 a piece online.
. I just replaced one and it's already out again.
