Do any of you Texas deer hunters happen to know if there are any weapons restrictions for deer hunting? I.e. caliber, magazine limit, etc.

For example, if I wanted to hunt dear with an AR-15 (.223), would that be legal? The reason I ask is because I know that for dove, you cannot have more than 3 shells loaded (or even the capability to have more than 3 total rounds loaded). Hog, however, does not seem to have any restrictions whatsoever. Do these same types of restrictions exist for deer hunting?

I tried searching the Texas Parks and Wildlife website but I couldn't seem to find the answer to my question (even though I thought I had stumbled upon it before).
