alright you guys im wondering how we are continuing this naming tradition....

    for those who dont know...

    CHEVROLET silverado / GMC sierra

1988-1998 is referred to as OBS (old body style)

1999 you had a choice of OBS or NBS

1999-2007 is referred to as NBS (new body style)

2007 you had a choice of either NBS or NNBS

2007-2013 is referred to as NNBS (new new body style)

    2014-???? is the newest silverado.....

is it going to be the NNNBS silverado? or is the game changing? lol

NNNBS is a bit ridiculous. GM needs to start something new.

Those trucks are universally called "square body" trucks (73 to 87)
55, 56, 57 trucks are called tri five trucks but you also have one model year in there thats refered to as a "Big Window".
Theres also a big window truck in the mid 60's series and another Big window in the 67-72 series.
Early 50's trucks are distinguished by "Three Window" and "Five Window".
It all gets confusing at times.

I vote we just call the newest style trucks

    And leave it at that!
