    That was a repeat. Maybe we need a new zero-related (think thesaurus) word ... other than the word 'zero, itself'.

    Don't. It's in the thesaurus. Ought is the American version, as in '30 ought six' (for 30.06) ... whereas 'aught' is the UK version of the same word.

    Fair enough on the ought, though I've always pictured 30 aught six in my mind. Maybe it's my small amount of british heritage coming out.
