I want to put a toneau cover on my quad cab 4wd colorado. Acording to the factory parts info the side rail covers are not compatabile with the soft toneau cover. My question is, has anyone put them on anyway over the side rail guards anyway?

I found a good and easy solution. Forget the Chevrolet factory cover!!!
I bought an Extang Tri-Fecta. It is easy to install, rests right on top of the bedrail covers, is easy to remove, and allows me to fold it back for taller items without removing it. What more could I have wanted.
Also comes with a lifetime waranty.

I haven't but it sounds like the manufacture has run into a problem with rail caps. The eight and width of the rail caps ight throw off the covers hold down points.
