I was wondering if the torque converter on my 06 Suburban with the 5.3L and auto would have a drain plug? My dad was telling me he has one on his Powerstroke. I know there 2 very different engines but the convience when changing the tranny oil would be very nice.

Don't worry about the 2 quarts sitting in the torque converter. That's not the only fluid you won't be able to flush out anyway. Kudos to you for actually sticking to some sort of a maintenance schedule though! WAYYYYYYYYY to many people let 150,000 miles go by before they think of flushing the transmission.
