Ok, several may think I am crazy for saying this, but in my opinion the whole hybrid thing is moronic. If you think about it, it does not make sense, since you cannot plug these cars into a wall outlet (without a hack). I.E. Too much energry transformation (how much energy is lost in the process?)- Gasoline is used to run a generator to charge batteries which in term powers the vehicle via electric motors..... I'm sorry, but I still believe that the gas engine can be made morre efficient, perhaps the an alternate fuel... for instance- hydrogen. The byproduct is water, and water would be the fuel.... not the membrane version of a hydrogen vehical mind you, but a combustion version.... BMW did it...
