I am getting new tires this week and I do not know how the TPMS sensors work. If I buy new ones do they have to programmed in or will the computer just recognize them. Also I am looking around for new ones other than from the dealer does anyone know what the part number would be for a 07 silverado LT2 NBS ext. cab Z71 4X4. I am finding some on ebay but the part numbers are all different. I hope I'm not asking repitive questions but I tried searching tpms and did not get any results. Thanks for any help!

I must have been having cpu problems, I found my answers. I could still use the part number though if anyone has that info. Thanks

New ones will have to be reconized by the computer but that can be done by relearning the sensors and spots...Do you not have sensors in all you tires? Why do you want to get new ones?
