I have a 97 chevy pick up and the transmission starts slipping when the truck heats up good. Is it the transmission cooler? Someone told me to disconnect it and blow it out maybe that would help.

Sounds logical to me. That is where I would start assuming that the transmission fluid levels while hot are reading ok.
