me and a friend of mine replaced the transfer case in his 05 tahoe with a transfer case out of a 02 sierra (what we thought was an 03 because of seats, dash style, etc.)

everything bolted right up and everything plugged in until we went to plug in the encoder harness. a single male adapter comes from the tahoe and there are 2 plugs for the encoder on the t case out of the sierra.

apparently prior to 03 came with a slot/oval style gear and after 03 is a star looking gear.

question is do they make a wiring harness adapter that goes from a single plug to the two plug style..

the tahoe will drive just no 4wd. so does he need to get a whole nother t case and we replace it or do they make a wiring adapter harness?

    Thanks
