Im new to the forum and I have a 2010 z71 with 102000 miles it has a clunk in the transfer case from what I can tell by turning the drive shafts. Any help would be appreciated.

It may not be the transfer case, it could be a u joint. Do you know which transfer case you have? Is it an NP4? Np8? The rpo code list in the glove box should tell you.

Should I be looking for those letters and numbers or is it a code?

The closest I saw was np5, it was in with all the other sets of letters and numbers on a sticker. I also checked the u joints there ok checked the slip yoke and lubed it with no change.
