I've got 33's on my 03 1500 right now and have a little room to fit 34's but it seems like it's going to rub the rubber piece that lines the inside of the finder well. It looks as they might rub the front bottom of the piece which is a couple of inches right of the fender, and the back bottom piece closer to the firewall and cab. Will it hurt to trim these just enough to fit the tires? I can post pics of the area im talking about if needed. Some pics of your work if you have trimmed this area would be helpful as well. Thanks

well first you have to make sure you have the right offset. it its negative your wheels will poke out and you will fit a 285 with trimming. Now if you have a close to stock offset. you might be able to squeeze some 305/65/18 bfg at's. or if u go with an mt buckshot makes a 305/70/18. You will have to do some trimming but that is expected.

Well I have 16 inch stock rims for now and stock offset, I'm expecting the trimming with the 34's but just wondering if it would hurt to trim that rubber fenderwell liner.

nope it wont hurt a thing. In fact i have mine trimmed about 5 inches up. You may also have to trim the plastic underneath your bumper. My tire shop did it for me.
