    I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3l engine
When driving and ONLY with the heat on high the engine will shut down.
The funny thing is it is at the top of a hill on my way to work. The odd thing is if the heat is not on it does not shut down. I am totally confused by this. I have been told it's a fuel problem, if so why only if the heater is running on high? I was thinking their might be some kind of short in the blower that shorts out other things??
    Recent work done includes:
    Computer diagnostic (Found nothing)
    Coil packs checked
    Spark Plugs replaced
    Throttle body checked and cleaned
Fuel system checked (pressure was good and normal)

Any help would be a great help!

If its the blower, it should shut off when the A/C is on high as well. Have you tried the A/C?
