So I've currently got a 5.7L 350 in my truck, fuel injected. I've got dibs on a tune port modded with mustang GT injectors I can pick up for $150, and I was wondering what yall thought about it.

I've heard itll give me more power, better fuel mileage, etc. but ill have to reprogram the truck's computer.

    Anyone ever done this?

You will have to change the wire harness and a new computer. You have a TBI system and a TPI system is completely differant. We have a few older TBI to TPI converted trucks around here and thats what they had to do.

Off topic but I always preferred the TPI over the TBI in the third gen camaros. The 5.0TPI and 5.7TPI from the factory came with more HP than the TBI set up.
