Well, it's time for a definitive MPG guide.

What can you expect for your vehicle with certain upgrades?
What kind of mileage can you expect on a new (to you) truck?
How badly will larger tires affect your mileage?

Hopefully we can get this guide to a point where all these questions will be answered and more.
Please feel free to reply to this post and enter your own information. PLEASE keep your post factual - make sure your mileage has been verified more than once to ensure accuracy. Information we need is: Model, Engine, relevant upgrades, and what kind of roads (hwy, city, 50/50)?

Your post will be added to the list below and deleted afterwards to keep things clean and easy to access.

**if your vehicle is already listed, please don't let it stop you from entering your own information to verify or correct a current one**

I was getting 20 but I chopped off my exhaust and put a 5 inch dump and the lower backpressure gave me better mileage.

    2003 Silverado 1500 4x4 Z71 Short Bed, Extended Cab
285x75R16's and 3.73's (not stock tires - stocks are 265x70R16's)
    3" body lift

14-15mpg DD mostly country roads, some stop/go
    15-16mpg hwy
    dont ask - towing/heavy (I don't know and I don't want to know :grrrrrr:)

Everything else is stock - intake, exhaust, tune. Thought about a regear to 4.56's to drop the engine load, but I will dump it in about a year. I want to try programming - easy to do compared to gears and with the time left that I will have it the time/work investment in gears isn't really worth it.
