Nope. It's in the 70's today and last week it was in the mid to high 60's.
 Got me, then.
2003 Silverado 1500 5.3 3.73 gear 285/75/16 duratracs mbrp duals 13.78MPG (50/50)
2010 Silverado 4x4, 5.3L 6spd Auto 3.08 gears.
Stock with 265's = AVG 17.6 to 18.1 MPG
2" RC level kit and 285's = AVG 14.1 - 16.5 MPG.
It's normally around 15.5 and I drive with a light foot. I have found anything over 60 mph and the gas mileage drops big time!!!
Next item is the H/T speedo cali. Oh and these are based on 70% highway
2009 Silverado 5.3, Z71, leveled, 285-65-18's. Catback exhaust, decent air filter no intake though. city(small town 45mph):13mpg's stop and go.
Highway 60-75mph driving like a sensible person not using cruise in the hills and rolling on and off throttle to coast up hills(not lying here):17-21mpg's.
Your right foot is the biggest mpg factor, no matter how many upgrades and programmers your foot controls it all!
99 silverado 5.3 with 33s (18/21) city highway with a bully dog programmer
2010 Silverado 5.3 w/3.73 16/18
1998 Suburban 1500 2wd 219,500 miles
12-13 mpg pure city short trips
21 mpg hy on long pure hy trips-3000 mile roundtrips-averaging 60 mph- CC set to 59-67mph-obey speed limits- road work, cities, towns lower averare speed to 60 mph.
Great mpg for such a huge comfortable vehicle
09 Sierra 4x4 5.3, leveled with 275/55/20 wheels and a flowmaster SI/DO exhaust. I get 14.5-15.1 City (depends how heavy my foot is). I drove nearly exclusively in stop and go small town conditions. I'm not sure what highway mileage is since I never take trips over 15 miles. Not too horrible for such a bulky aggressive vehicle.
2006 Chevy Silverado Vortex Max 6.0 (LQ9 engine). Performance tune for 89 octane, cat-back exaust, and CAI. 14.2 Stop and go (less than 5 miles per trip, LOTS of stop and go), 15.1 City Driving (80/20 split) 18.2 Highway (20/80 split) with 65-75 Speed limits.
Separate names with a comma.
