I had heard that 2008 was the last year for the Uplander and it was going to be replaced by a different style and different name of a van.

Then recently I heard that there are going to be 2009 Uplanders available.
Does anyone know the right facts on that ? ? :rules:

Looks like there may be some for Canada and Mexico only.

    Wikipedia Article
The Uplander was originally supposed to stay in production, but then ended up being discontinued due to it being over budget. It will continue production in Canada and Mexico for the 2009 model year. The last vehicle of this model produced was a Canadian version of a 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 Short-Wheel-Base in Liquid Silver Metallic.

SO . . . . how about in USA . What has the Uplander been replaced with South of the Canadian border . ?

Is the 2009 Uplander in Canada just an overstocked 2008 with a different date put on the owners manual ? ? ? :rules:

Hey , we will get to the bottom of this yet :great:
