Valve Problems?

I think that my truck is having valve problems, it is a 1994 1500 2 wheel 5.7L small block with 100,000 miles on it. When i start it up it takes a second to stop missing then it will be ok once it heats up, when i hold a piece of paper to the exhaust it sucks in for less than a split second every few seconds. Does this happen to many other 89-94 1500 owners? and if this sounds familiar to anybody let me know if this is common and what the best course of action is?

I haven't heard of the pape trick but it makes sense that it might be a floated valve.

If your sure it isnt piston slap then its prolly a valve.

Have you ever adjusted the rockers? What mileage is on the rig?
