Other than the wheel hub are there any other visual differences between the two vehicles?

The front end and the hood. There might be something small I'm missing

ahmitchell1 is right, not much of a difference than the hood and front end. Dimension wise, 2500 is bigger when get comes to overall length. Both are beautiful trucks!

    Thanks to both of you.

Now comes the more difficult question.

Aside from dimensions, what are the mechanical differences, beyond the engine?

While I know this is basic knowledge among the pro's, my newbie status with my 2013 is only a week old.

    Your patience is much appreciated!
