want to swap a 2007 5.3L lc9 to either a lmg or ly5

My question is in the title of this tread. Can this be done? I have a 2007 Sub with a LC9 now. The engine has developed a load lower knock. Th LMG or LY5 are more available and seem to be cheaper in the bone yards. I was thinking that maybe since the LY5 is not an E85 compatible engine that maybe the fuel pump might need to be changed out. Anybody have any thoughts on this. Thanks
