I just changed the PCV valve on my 2002 Chevy Suburban with 5.3L Flex-Fuel engine. I was replacing the knock sensors and decided to replace the PCV valve. The old valve (AC/Delco) didn't rattle when you shook it, but the new one (Purolator) made the rattling sound I'm used to hearing. I looked a little closer and didn't see any internal parts in the old PCV valve. Also, its orifice hole was noticeable smaller than the replacement.

    Has anyone else notice this?
