NIce job S. Good to have friends and I am sure Nak is very appreciative.
Just change the oil and oil filter. Went to Royal Purple 10 30 and a K&N filter.
Hey nice job! Who cares if no one will see it you know it's there and when you go to put windshield washer fluid in at the gas station people will see!
props dadngt on that engine cover. makes me wish i had done more to mine!
Looks good buddy. And just knowing it's there and that you did it makes it all worth it. I'm sure there will be occasion to show it off. Those are the times that make it all worth it. You putting alot of time in your truck and those of us who do the same can recognize it and appreciate it. So I say again great job, it looks good and keep it up.:great::great::great:
Thanks everyone. It took longer to figure out how & where to put the flames than it did to paint them on. The local car shows arround here are alot smaller than they used to be maybe I'll start entering. Like with my Mustang I won 1st at a show... helps that I was the only one in the class lol.
Towed my boat to the lake, cruised to the sandbar, caught some fish, and towed her home.
Nice. I love going fishin and pulling a boat behind my truck.
Anyway, I went to a buddy's house and we took off the chrome trim on my truck so he can put it on his reg cab stepside. Gonna go to the car wash and spray the Goo Gone off the truck. Fishin line and a tint applicator and we were done in about an hour.
Washed and Sealed the paint (Adams Machine Super Sealant), vacummed and shampo'd the carpeting. Now the only downside is I have to wait 24 hours before I can apply the wax or another layer of sealent. Can not wait to see the result after a couple coats of wax...
Ok... First coat of Adams Americans Wax applied. So far I am impressed with their products. one thing I like is that they are American made. The sealent went on easy yesterday and was very easy to buff to a shine. The wax went on easy. The Wax was a little harder than others I have used to buff... But am happy with the end result.
