i just purchased my first chevy.. 2012 silverado 1500 LT crew cab 2wd, i want to lift it so i can fit 35" tires on it. But i dont know where to begin. I'm not really going to go off-road other then mudding, but i really want the lift for the look. I also want the ride to be as comfortable as stock as possible. SO any ideas, or helpful tips?

Get a ReadyLift or Cheaper Level Kit! Mount a 33" Tire and Be Happy! It's a 2wd.............

35" tire, 2wd, and lift tall enought to fit 35's dont normally equate to as comfortable as stock ride.
As was already mentioned you might try a leveling kit with 33's.
This combination will save some wear and tear on your new truck and help it last until you at least get it paid off.
Larger tires and lifts are hard on the suspension and drivetrain so if your only going for looks this might be a better alternative.
