what looks better, the duals exiting strait out the back, or exiting at about a 45 under each corner of the rear bumper?

Simply a matter of preference. I have had several different setups, side exit in front of wheel, side exit behind the wheel, straight out the back. I really liked the side exit in front of the wheel but it is a lot louder! Behind the weel causes your tips to wear out faster!

I vote no pipes. just get them turned down at the muffler. Gives the truck a meaner sound with the echo off the ground too. :glasses:

x2 on this option or second best would be the 45 out the sides. IMO

Well, check out my truck, it's going out 45 angles out the corners, and a few of my buddies have it out the back, i recommend going out the corners, going straight out the back will get you in trouble, if you back up into a snow pile, they're all buggered up.

Go with the 45. I've got mine done at the 45. The guy told me that it would be easier to go around my spare that way. And I think it gives it a meaner look. Click on my attachments.

I went with 45 degree simply because I was tired of seeing everybody around here with the pipes straight out the back. Of course now that I have the 45 degree pipes I'm noticing more people with them also. It's a matter of preference really. One thing to think about also is if you'll be towing. If you're going to be towing anything it's usually better to go with 45 degree so they're a bit more out of the way. There's my 2 cents. Keep us updated.

i never thought about the towing factor. i dont do much towing but i do some. whats the point of havin a truck if you cant pull somethin right? i have a prebent kit comming and i believe its strait out the back. can muffler shops add a bend in the pipes? without the pipe collapsing at all?

they should be able to or they should be able to custom it. I like the look of straight or 45, but I think I will go 45 if I go duals (in the plans like way to many other things)

I have mine straight out the back, but I like the 45 look too. If you do take it straight out, make sure they are even, there's nothing worse than one pipe hanging lower than the other!
