    Hello Fellow GM Friends!
I have a 2008 Suburban LTZ (5.3) and check engine light is on. A quick check at dealership said that it shows that the fuel purging cannister needs replacing at cost of $225.
Any of you have any experience with this? Where is the cannister located and is it difficult to replace. If I replace it myself will the check engine light need to be reset?

The EVAP Canister, is located next to the Fuel Tank,

    In the Diagram,

Number #1 is the CANISTER EVAP EMISSION

Regarding "If I replace it myself will the check engine light need to be reset?....yes, you will need to Clear the Trouble Code.
