I bought a Jason fiberglass tonneau cover for my truck from a RV place that also does truck accessories, getting it put on Monday. But i have also bought two others from a truck accessories Store. Where do you live around?

There should be a local place that will work a deal. You can get them online but the shipping cost will be a bunch and those items seem to have a higher damage rate so really check it over if you get one shipped to you.

ARE makes some of the best covers out there in my personal opinion.

I've never had hard top covers and have not had any issues with contents of the bed getting wet. Have you had an issue in the past with that? If so what kind of cover did you use?

I have an Extang Trifold tonneau cover. It is a hard cover put it folds up and does keep the bed dry. I got mine from 4 wheel parts for about $700. ARE does make some nice hard covers. The only issue with them is they are heavier than mine and it takes a small army to remove them.

I've always used soft covers, never had issues with keeping things dry, but I was always worried about being able to remove the cover and carry lots of cargo without having the cover in the way.
I dont carry as many large items now a days so I'm looking at a hard cover for my new truck.
Problem is I gotta find one I like the looks of that has the capabilities I need.
