I came across this list of various tbi engines:

    GEN 1
    TBI 4.3 160hp@4000 235lb/ft torque@2400rpm
    TBI 305 170-180hp@4400rpm 260 lb/ft torque@2400rpm
    TBI 350 200-210hp@4000rpm 290-300 lb/ft torque@2400rpm
    TBI 454
    low po 230hp@rpm 385 lb/ft torque@1800rpm
    hi po 255hp@4000rpm 405 lb/ft torque@2400rpm

I have a '95 k2500 suburban with the 454. It was mentioned that the low-po was 90-93 and that the 94-95 was the hi-po version.

Is there a RPO code that'll tell me the difference or is it only decipherable via measuring the fuel pressure?

Through your VIN number you should be able to tell all the Opt's that your truck came with. I think there is a break down of Vin's on here if not I know there is a web site...
