They are all owned by GM (at least Pontiac was before it got discontinued). But, which is the best of them all?

Give your reasons for you opinion, such as "This is better quality than that" for example.

That's kinda like asking, which is the best, a red apple, or a red apple?

Other than you have cars and trucks classed together, there is very little difference.

Maybe 50 years ago, when each division had it's own engines and transmissions, there may have been a difference; but not much today.

A little, very little. The Buick seats might be a little better, maybe.

The difference is in the trim lines for each brand.

The Chev (being the valve leader) will have entry level trim that will have fewer features than the entry level trim for, say, the Buick.
However, move up to the LTZ trim and the Buick will have a hard time beating the features.

This is assuming, that we are comparing "like for like" between the car lines (say, fullsize sedan to fullsize sedan).

The engines are used across the lines, the transmissions are the same, the frames are the same, not much different.

You left out Cadiillac and Oldsmobile. Personally I liked the Olds better no matter what model. Pontiac engines let go sooner and chevy was easiest to get parts for , when needed.. Of course this is the old days. like Buick had the distributor up front making it easier to set the dwell. Chev seemed to be a beefier suspension than Olds, Cad or Buick
