Which truck do I have?

I have a 2007 Silverado 1500 extended cab. I don't know if I have an LS or LT. Or neither. All it says on the rear fender is "4 x 4". I know it's a 1500 with a small V8. I can't find the window sticker. The dealer wrote "K Pickup" on the sales order but that's all. So I always have trouble ordering / buying accessories / parts. For example, I had fender flares installed when I bought it new in '07 and now broke one and can't figure out how to order a new set because places like JC Whitney asks for the body style. (I've heard they changed body styles mid-year in 2007.)

And I can't even get windshield wipers to fit because catalogs keep asking if its' an LS, LT, or whatever. I looked a Advanced Auto web site and can't figure out which wipers to buy. None of the wipers that Wal-Mart carries fit. I've tried their Bosch and Rainx 22 inch and the connectors don't fit.

How can I figure out what it is? Would I be able to find any info on the Internet with the VIN?

with your VIN # any chevy dealership will give you a print out of your vehicles build/type/assy...

also the glove box cover has many GM codes to help determine your vehicles build info. RPO sticker..

barrygou.....finding out What Trim your Silverado has, is Important, also just as Important is Knowing What Model/Platform your 07" Silverado is....I've just looked at the Window Sticker, also the Built Sheet for my 99" Silverado, and on these 2-document's there is no mention of what Model/Platform it is, both of them showed the following...."1999" Silverado 1500 Pickup LS ".....as you already know back in 2007" there were 2-Models/Platform of Chevy Silverado's you could have bought, they were the following,

The 2007" Silverado 1500 NBS GMT-800 Platform "Classic"
    "New Body Style".....*99" to *07"

    The 2007" Silverado 1500 NNBS GMT-900 Platform
"New New Body Style".....*07" to 13"

Edit: Knowing what Model/Platform your 07" Silverado is....will help when Ordering, Buying Parts for it.

Ops. Sorry. I was looking at the sales order. That VIN was for the '99 that I traded in on the 2007. Both were on the order. Here is the correct VIN for the 2007

I have spent a bit of time trying to figure out the trim level of you 2007. It appears, the trim level was not included in the 2007 VINs. All I can tell, is that it is a 4x4 1500.

You will need to go to the RPOs to track it down farther.

Almost sounds like my brother-in-law's boat. I was just a collection of leftover parts from the factory shelves.......You couldn't order any parts by serial #. You had to remove the old part and take it to the parts counter to get the right part........Even the dealer shop mechanics were shaking their heads at it.

think it may be a stolen vehicle with a false vin #.. or a scraped salvage vehicle put back ...
