    Hello guys,
My buddy and I buy most of our tools together and we are trying to decide on which code scanner to buy. Ideally I would like to be able to read OBD1 and 2 codes and have scan capability. Also have it update via internet. Ideally I would like it to explain the code if not I can go to the internet and look up the code. I have looked at Equus 3150 but does not do OBD1. I could spend like $400.00 or around that. Does anyone have suggestions?

Alright well I know your budget's $400, but consider stretching it a little bit. I have had the Auto X-Ray 6000 for about 5 years, and I have used it enough to pay for itself. It covers all GM FORD CHRYSLER OBD1 & OBD2 styles, as well as some foreign cars. It also has lap top capability with the use of the enclosed disc, but it does not work with MAC so I found out! :grrrrrr:

It is internet upgradeable as well, check it out and see what you think.
