Took my Silverado into the dealer the other day and the fron bumper had a few rock chips on it. The dealer used some touch up paint and the spots they touched up look silver.

Is there any good touch up paint for the White Diamond, or is the color VERY difficult to touch up?

    Thanks.

Get a Clear shield like a Huskyshield.. To match it right will NOT be easy...

Doesnt White Diamond have Pearl in it?
If thats the case itll be almost impossible to match with good results, a lot like matching a metal flake color.
With colors like this most shops recommend a repaint if you have to have a perfect match, the paint system has to be layed as a whole system to look right.

Kind of what I've read, so those touch up pens and brushes will be a waste of time.

I'm actually thinking of having the LT chrome bumper put on.

Diamond white is a tri coat paint system, it's not as simple as base coat clear coat. If you go to a reputable ppg paint store that mixes paint, they can mix that color in an aerosol can and you can spray it yourself. It will be closer, but still not perfect.

I will second that. A shop near me actually has a weird camera that they will use to take a picture of the paint that helps them mix a paint can or spray can to as close as they allow. Also GM dealers use to be able to order touch up paint using your exact paint code.

I have gotten a lot of touch up paint, clear coat, primer, etc in both aerosol cans and small bottles from

    http://www.automotivetouchup.com/in...tm_expid=46962982-10.mvu0xbPTQIKu4MxXEcvpMQ.1

They put together some darn good paints that match up great. I recently did some add ons to my semi truck and some paint touch up. That truck has the Dupont Viper Blue Pearl Elite paint. Very same blue paint Dodge uses on the 2013 Viper. I was able to prime, paint, clear coat the add on parts and they matched beautifully. The spots I touched up, same thing. And I am not a body repair technician by any stretch of the imagination. I just took my time.

Give them a try and see if they can help you out. There is hardly a paint out there that they can't put in an aerosol can or a bottle for you.
