First, what is your budget, second are you getting an aftermarket head unit as well?

This site should get you started and get you some important specs. Got it from another member and it really helped me. http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/autoinfo/autoinfo.asp?lp=/app/Car/MyCar.aspx This site will tell you what size your speakers are and give you all options that fit fit in your truck

Budget would be around $1500 and I keep the oem headunit.

Yep, I already checked this website and it did give the speakers that would fit in my truck, but they are different ones and dont know which amps to get, so I'm still a little confused.

It's really your preference about what type but for speakers I would reccomend Alpine Type-R and for the amp and subs i would recommend kicker.

Honestly, for my money i go with Boston Acoustics for everything if I can. I have an Alpine V12 600watt amp tha I have had for 13+ years so thats my opinion but from top to bottom Alpine is a very good brand too. You have the first step down, your budget. Call Crutchfield their customer service guys are very good. You can tell them just what you have told us and they can point you in the right direction.

Is that as big of speaker that comes in those? I would think they would be 6 3/4", i would think you could make bigger ones fit though

Well I want quality sound not quantity, I could get bigger subs but I think 8" would fit great under the back seats and good enough and as for the Alpine speakers I dont know.

ditch the rear speakers... stay away from kicker if you have money. If your looking for something simple. Fork out some money for a quality set of front door components and than get a box for the back. I dont know how much airspace is in the back but since you just want quality get two tens. Get a two channel amp for the front doors and a mono for the subs. Than buy yourself a wiring kit with 0g so theirs no resistance and over heating.

kicker is known to be loud but lacks in clarity. pm me and ill help you out.
