Why no factory HID's in 2014?

    I was just going through the GM order guide and noticed that the projector headlamps that are in the Sierra and Silverado come with a halogen bulb not a xenon bulb, I mean if your going to put a projector housing in why not go all the way and install a xenon bulb in there as well.

    It saves GM about $5,00 per truck thats why GM going Cheap again Did they bring back the much Needed Cabin Air filter?

    I agree, with all the electronics they put in the new trucks that's something they need to bring back, but it doesn't mention anything about a cabin air filter so I'm guessing no.

    IMO, HIDs are overrated, plus you have to have a separate bulb for the DRLs. I personally think the headlight on my 2013 halogen bulbs are more than bright enough. Projector bean headlamps look nicer IMO.

    I'm surprised the 2014 Sierra doesn't have HIDs seeing how much more "Professional Grade" they are and seeing that the new Sierra has those ebay LEDs for DRLs.
