As I can't afford a whole new rim + tire package (20" etc) im looking at getting some 16" rims
only thing i can find is 16x8 6x5.5 bolt patterns
my stock tiresize is 235/75/16 and a tireshop said alternate would be 245/70/16

im buying winter tires in 245/70/16 and wanted to make sure both sizes fit?

    this website http://www.wheelsforless.com/GM_Truck.htm
    only says 235/70/16 and 245/75/16
so would 235/75/16 and 245/70/16 still work?

and would all rims be hubcentric if they're specifically 6x5.5?
    i have a 03 silverado rwd

    thanks!

Yeah those should fit! Stock wheels were actually 16x8 and they had 285's on them and never rubbed so you could probably go as large as that.

Not all 6x5.5 wheels are hubcentric. You have to ask the manufacture or the salesman.

235/75/16 is the stock size. 255/70/16 is a stock optional size. So your 235/75/16 tires will fit on there no problem.
