My spare is only a 31 at most, my other four are 33's. someone informed me its much cheaper to tow then blow a diff. makes sense to me in the rear because its driving and supposed to be posi. will running a one tire smaller on my front axle blow that diff as well if the 4wheel is not engaged?

Your front diff is an open diff, however b/c the tires are different sizes, your spider gears will getting a work out. I believe you should be ok, just do not drive fast.

If you need to, run it on the front. And only as long as you have to...

Use for a short period to get home but remove ASAP as the others have said. I always have 5 tires the same size, even if 1 is a different brand (spare only).
