Well, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, it wasn't ready today to pick up, but I guess they didn't get the new bumper painted and installed in time. That's ok I suppose, I just won't be able to take it on my trip tomorrow as we were going to leave in the AM and I wanted to drive it around for a couple of hours in-town today before I took it on it's maiden voyage out of town for 3 hours.

They ended up repainting the road near where the accident occured, I'll take some photos and everyone can see what they did about it. It makes it clear that the 3nd lane starts early and there is clearly a designed right-turn lane into Frys.

Most people would have rolled over and played dead. No, I fought, I got back my $500 deductible. I will get all extra out-of-pocket expenses back, plus 100% of medical expenses and pain and suffering and inconvenience too.

Plus, I will file a dimished value claim with my insurance company and will hopefully see some of that cash come back in as well.

Wow. I can't believe how long it took to get this worked out for you! I had a wreck on October 11, 2008. Someone ignored a stop sign on the highway and I hit them head on going about 55mph. I walked away with bruises and scratches but it totaled my baby. 2002 Silverado. I had a rental car the same day, paid for by State Farm. I had a Check from State Farm by October 15, 2008 and had my new truck the very next day. The other driver was 100% at fault. Although I just now got my deductible back this month, everything else went pretty smooth.
