Z71 Shocks question

    Hi everyone

Here's another suspension related question regarding my 2011 LT 5.3 extended cab Z71 - isn't the Z71 package supposed to come with Rancho shocks? My truck came with plain old black shocks (not the pretty white ones with red RANCHO lettering) - what's up with that?

Full disclosure - I have the Z71 suspension package (skid plates, supposedly shocks, etc) but not the Z71 appearance package. Truck is 4X4 obviously.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I "THINK" and the key word here is think they have two Z-71 packages now, I think!

I think this is a good reason to go out and buy some cool Bilstein shocks that are silver/aluminum looking that are also a leveling kit. So you get cool shocks and a leveling kit.

I don't even think GM uses Bilstein shocks anymore too much for them...But if you do want some Great shocks then go for it....
