The dual auto air con in the 2003 burb is not responding properly to the selected air temperature.

Anything set below 90 degrees on the front control panel display results in full cooling (in Auto mode it kicks the fan to full blast as well). It will cool no matter what the cabin temperature. Above 90 degrees the system is on full heat.

I would welcome any suggestion as to how to start diagnosising the problem. I am guessig its a temperature sensor somewhere ( there are 3 possibles - the interior cabin temperature sensor in the roof lining - sometimes called the aspirator, the sunlight sensor in the dashboard and the cabin temperature sensor in the footwell) - but where does one start.

I have been thinking about one of the OBD scanners - but would that report on air con sensors in the cabin.

Any help gratefully received.
